So I have emailed my draft to one person and they have not responded to my email. I'm waiting on that but you know what I have found that helps me after I'm done writing my paper. If I read my paper out loud it is easier to put the correct punctuation where it goes. I have found that researching my topic under different things like illegal drugs during pregnancy, instead of the effects of illegal drugs during pregnancy gives me more topics. So I'm looking forward to getting feedback about my draft.

Past 6 weeks.

Where do I start. What I have been dealing with the last six weeks are sick children. This is the reason for me not bring in seminar. My youngest son age 2 just had tubes put back in his ears and part of his ear drum repaired because of 2 ear drum ruptures in a week. My youngest daughter ended up with an infection in both her ears, and now I'm sick and have not even started Christmas shopping. I just got my tree up and I have never been that late for that going up. I look at it this way it could be a lot worse. I have a roof over my head and food in my stomach unlike some people during the Holiday season. May god bless everyone and may everyone have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Writting Style

Well first of all I'm not a good writer because I wait till the last minute to write things. I have found that I do better at my writing when I do an outline. This does tend to save me some time and helps put me on the right track to writing my paper. I have learned to use spell check and the only thing that I really have to worry about is my punctuation. I have learned to read my papers out loud and this helps me with my punctuation and I also have some one proof read it. I have learned a lot about writing since I have been here at Kaplan. Thanks Kaplan you are number 1.

After reading the KU handbook for writers I have come to the conclusion that it is very important to cite all of your work because you want to make sure that you are giving the writer the proper credit for his/her work.
What would I do if someone used something I created without giving me credit? Hum good question. I'm the kind of person who is very forgiving so if someone would do that to me I would probably say "I'm sure that it was by accident and that they did not mean to do it on purpose". I then would let the person slide.
I have not heard of any real world plagiarism and I think if I did I would get a little upset because I am sure a lot of people would try and sue someone for millions because they did this. I could see if someone plagiarised a whole book then I might sue and ask for jail time.
I do believe that the Internet does blur the lines of legally owned so that they can try and catch someone and sue them for money . Plagiarism is not a funny thing but it is scary when you are writing something because you want to make sure that it is not considered plagiarism.
